October Meeting Notice
The October meeting will be held on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2023 hosted by the Dedham Fire Department courtesy of Chief William Spillane. We will meet in the first floor training room of Dedham’s new Public Safety Building, 26 Bryant St.
Our training will be provided by Brockton Chief Brian Nardelli with a presentation on the 10-alarm fire involving the electrical transformer room at Brockton Hospital on February 7, 2023. This was a very challenging and manpower intensive incident requiring the evacuation of 160 patients.
DIRECTIONS: Take I-95 to Rt.1 North (EXIT 29A). Continue on Rt.1 for 5 traffic lights (Get in the left lane before the 5th light. Turn left at the 5th light, that is Eastern Ave (Gulf Gas on the corner). Take a quick left on Bryant St (Citizens Bank on the corner). The firehouse will be on your left and there is plenty of free parking on the “D-Side” of the complex.
