The May meeting of MIFDI will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 hosted by the Wilmington Fire Department courtesy of Chief William Cavanaugh. We will meet in the Training Room of the Wilmington Public Safety Building, #1 Adelaide St @ Church St. (Rt.62). There is ample parking behind the station. We last met in Wilmington for our June 2019 meeting.
The training presentation will be provided by MIFDI P.P. Norm Aubert, Crew Chief of the MassPort Fire-Rescue. Norm will present a very informative program titled; “TAKING ACTION AGAINST CANCER IN THE FIRE SERVICE”. This presentation is offered through the Massachusetts Firefighter Academy for departments throughout the Commonwealth to provide information on immediate actions that firefighters can take to reduce their occupational cancer risk. We are fortunate to have this important training offered to MIFDI members.

DIRECTIONS:
From Rt. 495; Take Rt. 93 South to Exit 40 (Rt.62), turn left at the top of the ramp, follow Rt. 62 aprox 2-miles and the station will be on the right.
From I-95/Rt.128; Take Rt.93 North (Exit 37B), follow 93 to Exit 38 (Rt.129), turn right at the top of the ramp onto Rt.129. Rt.129 will merge onto Rt.38. Follow Rt.38 a short distance to Rt. 62. Turn right onto Rt.62 and the station will be on your left.
