The June meeting of MIFDI will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 hosted by the Wilmington Fire Department. We will meet in the Training Room of Wilmington’s Public Safety Building, #1 Adelaide St @ Church St. (Rt.62). There is ample parking behind the station. We last met in Wilmington in November 2016.

The training presentation will be provided by Cliff Plourde from IPP-IPS. He will be discussing the latest options and technology regarding Combustible Gas Indicators (CGI’s). He will also discuss meters for detection of Hydrogen Cyanide. With equipment funding for the new fiscal year in July, departments will be looking at upgrading their CGI’s. Due to the many hazards we now face as firefighters, it may be time to equip every member with a CGI as part of their PPE.
